
With the Chinese Lunar New Year around the corner, let's learn about the highlights of Chinese New Year celebrations in different districts of Guangzhou.
The highly-anticipated "2024 Guangzhou Spring Festival Fireworks Display" will be staged at Baitan from 8:00-8:45 on the evening of February 10 this year (the first day of the Lunar New Year), bringing a 45-minute international-level fireworks display.
From February 1 to 24, Chimelong Tourist Resort in Panyu District will hold the "Super Dragon Festival". The largest extant species of lizard—the Komodo dragon— will be on display for the first time.
Moreover, Lianhuashan Tourist Area (莲花山旅游区) will organize the Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival from February 10 to 17.
Baomo Garden (宝墨园) will present the Lingnan Folk Culture Festival from February 10 to 16.
Shawan Ancient Town (沙湾古镇) will hold celebrations for the Year of the Dragon from February 10 to 15.

The Guangzhou Cultural Center (Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) will host the "Spring Festival Intangible Cultural Heritage Garden Party" from February 2 to February 25, 2024, from 9:30 to 17:30.
