Since November 12, 2014, America has implemented new visa policy on China, Chinese citizens are possible to apply for 10-year validity tourism/business visas and 5-year validity student visas.
Q1. Does 10-year Validity mean 10-year-stay?
No. 10-year validity visa doesn`t mean you can stay in the USA for 10 years,but means you don`t need to pay for the visa application any more within 10 years. Of course, how long you can stay each time will be decided by the border officer (generally 6 months).
Q2. Does 10-year Validity Visa need to be renewed each year?
No, it dosen`t.
Q3.How to get 10-year Validity Visa?
meet the conditions:
a.Passport (over 6-month validity)
b.Reasonable travel purpose
c.No criminal records
d.No terrorist activity records
e.Enough account balance(over 50,000 RMB)
f.Well bank statement of recent 6 months
g.Not being an illegal intending immirgrant
h.Better being married and have aboard records.

Q4.If my existing visa still have 1-year validity, will it be extended when I receive 10-year validity visa?
No. Validity of existing Visa will not be extended, it`s only vaild before the expiry date which shown on it.
Q5.Does it have any connection with the vaild period of passport?
No. America Visa is different from Canada visa, it`s not issued according to the vaild period of passport. Applicant usually can get 10-year validity multi-visa.
Q6. If the valid period of visa is longer the passport`s, what should I do when the passport expires?
Just show your new&old passports. Make sure the visa page is still completed.
Q7.Will the visa fee increase?
No. The visa fee and application materials do not change.
Q8.Is it more difficult to apply for?
No. The American governments implement this visa policy to encourage Chinese people to go consuming in the USA, so the difficulty will be the same.

Procedure of Application:
1. Collect materials of the applicant
2. Fill the DS-160 form online. Register and log in , then fill the infomation
3. Pay the visa fee online or through the China Citic Bank
4. Make an appointment for the interview
5. Interview on the appointed date
6. Get the passport ( if being approved)
