1. Usage of physical examination

Foreigners, especially, need to make appointment to apply for physical examination online if they want to obtain a work visa in China. Only if their physical examination is qualified can they have the opportunity to apply for residence.

Location of Physical Examination

The most famous physical examination center in Guangzhou is GUANGZHOU INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL HEALTHCARE CENTER, where foreigners are often seen visiting.

As a public institution directly under CHINA ENTRY-EXIT INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE, it undertakes the legal work of health management of the entry-exit personnels from various regions for CHINA ENTRY-EXIT INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE.

Generally, foreigners are arranged to do their physical examinations there if they need to apply for work visa.

Procedure of Physical Examination For Residence Application

1. Make appointment online

Enter http://www.gdwbzx.com/Booking/, make appointment and get your number online.

Notice: You can only book for the next day and you 'd better book for the morning.

2. Arrangement for physical examination

After receiving your number, please wait for the arrangement. A physical examination costs about 600RMB and lasts at least 1- 2 hours. Please take care of the receipt after receiving it, which is needed to collect the report after three workdays.

If you are not available to collect the report, please feel free to contact HACOS anytime and we will get it for you.

3. Arrangement to collect physical examination report

There are two reports, one's cover is white and the other is yellow, both in sealed envelopes.

The white one should be submitted in to Guangzhou Human Resource and Security Bureau, and the yellow one should be submitted to Guangzhou Entry and Exit Administration Office.

Attentions

1）Eat light food, avoid strenuous exercise like long run, etc. and have enough sleep the night before physical examination. Also, keep an empty stomach before your examination. And it is appropriate to arrange the examination in the morning in order to prevent errors in the results.

2) Remember to bring 5 big one-inch photos with white/blue background, and your personal passport (Foreigners applying for work visa should know that).

3) Must not open the physical examination report. Please keep it well and you can pay to reissue one at the physical examination center in case of loss.

About Opening Time：

Time for physical examination:

from Monday to Saturday, 8:00-12:00 a.m. and 13:00-16:00 p.m.

Time to collect certificate:from Monday to Friday, 13:00-17:00 p.m.
