The Mid-autum Festival is a traditional Chinese Festivals, which is on the 15th day of August in lunar calendar.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese usually have a special event, all family memembers are supposed to go back home to have a dinner, even they are far away from home. Chinese wish all family memembers could reunit to celebrate that fullmoon night, they treasure the relationship of family very much.
The moon cakes, which as round as the moon, are traditonal dessert of the festival, people love to give each other moon cakes as presents before that day. In the past, the moon cakes are usually sweet, with bean paste, egg-yolk or nuts. But now, there are many different kinds of moon cakes, such like the beef moon cake.
After the dinner, children may light up lanterns and play with their friends, while adults drink some tea and enjoy the moon with family members. That night is always peaceful and warm.
