Recently, the Guangzhou government set up a mobile spot about legal consultancy in the Huaisheng Mosque, Hui, Wei and Mogol lawyers took part in the activity and provided with Legal aid services.
This measure brought great convenience to minorities nationalities people and foreigners in Guangzhou.
On that day,Huaisheng Mosque attracted more than 1,500 muslims to the church. Further more,80% of them were foreign muslims.
The lawyers received about 10 consulting cases, including inheritance,personal damage compensation,social insurance payment, disputes of demoliton. More over,the restriction of the distance between the noodle shops, which the shopkeepers cared about were also mentioned.
The lawyers made detailed answers and explanations on those issues, and they also declared that if the muslims come across legal issues later, the legal aid institutes in Guangta Street or even in the whole city, would give assistance to them as well.
It is worth mentioning that the workers of the workstation also distributed legal aid guidebooks to visitors which were translated into Chinese, English , Uighur，and etc.
The Legal Aid Consultancy Spot has been thinking highly of by the Muslims. Many people came to get the brochures and expressed thanks. Meanwhile，the akhond of Huaisheng Mosque said , it was so kind of the local government that they provided free consultancy service and special cares to the muslims in Guangzhou.
From now on,Guangzhou government will set up Legal Aid Spots around the city`s mosques every Friday.
In addition, based on the muslims` languages, the related organisation refered that they would send related professional minority nationalities lawyers to the mosques. 20 minority naltionalities lawyers of the legal aid workstation would provide nice services for muslims in Guangzhou city.
