Step 1: Appointment
Make an appointment with your passport in the hospital (or dial 144 for a telephone appointment), telling the officer about your situation and visiting date. If it is an exigency, you can go to the Drop-in Office for an immediate treatment.
Indeed, in China, making a medical appointment is really efficient!
Step 2: Registration
Make a registration for the correspondent medical department according to your symptom. If you have no idea which department you should go to, you can ask officer for guidance.
In addition, you are required to buy a brochure for medical records in case of return visits.
Step 3: Diagnosis
Please queue up for diagnosis in the medical department you’ve registered. Well, try to be patient, queuing up and listening to the doctor carefully. Believe me, the doctor will dispense an accurate prescription to you and you will be back on your feet soon! 
Step 4: Get Prescription Medicines
Go to the Out-patient Department Toll and pay for medicines with doctor’s prescription, then get these medicines at hospital pharmacy. But if you want to buy such prescription medicines from other pharmacies, the doctor’s prescription is also needed!
OK, now you can go back home and have a rest if it is not a big case. But don’t forget the return visit if necessary.
Furthermore, dial 120 for an ambulance if it is an emergency or a serious case. The ambulance will be right there as soon as possible. And don’t worry that calling for an ambulance is expensive, actually, the price is quite reasonable since it is calculated only according to the distance here in China!
