Nansha Passenger Port
South extension of Line 4
The ocean, ships.... the whole station is decorated on a maritime theme, focusing on Guangzhou as one of the starting points of the Maritime Silk Road.

GZ North Railway Station
Line 9
This station’s theme is the Lion Dance, one of the living traditions of Guangdong. The lion dance is usually performed during Chinese New Year and other traditional Chinese festivals. It may also be performed at events such as opening ceremonies and special celebrations.

South Sea God Temple
Line 13
The South Sea God Temple was built in 584 A.D., during the Tang and Song dynasties. Before merchant ships would put out to sea, their crews came here to pray for a smooth voyage and fair winds. From four original sites across China this is the only such temple remaining intact, so the designers went for historical themeing to stress the significance of the site.

Knowledge City
Line 14
As the name implies, the station wants to convey a sense of wisdom and transmission of knowledge through a crossover of tradition and modernization.
