Recently, Guo Mingji, a famous analyst, illustrates that faltering demand in the first quarter this year with only 18 million iPhoneX having been sold makes it hard to achieve the sales target. Sales volume in Chinese marker, which is considered to be one of the most promising purchase market, doesn’t go as well as expected either.
Guo says that the mainly reason is the “bangs” design on the top of the phone, which reduces the screen real estate. In a way, the screen of iPhone 8 Plus appears to be much bigger and more useful.
In such case, Apple has been lowering its order volume of iPhoneX. it is estimated that production of iPhoneX will be suspended since June this year. High price as well as dissatisfied design results in decreased selling.
Therefore, Apple may work to research and develop an upgraded all-screen designed iPhone with a lower price, replacing the current iPhoneX, so as to increase sales volume.
Before a new replacing iPhone is launched, Apple will stop produce iPhoneX in this summer. Moreover, Guo estimates that iPhoneX will not be sold at a lower price within a year since its cessation producing. And this will be the first time that Apple may not keep its history iPhone launched in the previous year.

Guo forecasts that Apply will launch three new kinds of iPhone. The new iPhoneX will be equipped with LCD screen instead, for the sake of lowering cost and knocking down selling price. However, according to TechWeb, the new iPhone is not much cheaper than iPhoneX actually.
