Intelligent Driving Bus
The outer appearance of such unmanned bus remains the same as the traditional bus with a white bus body. However, there are great differences inside!

"Alphabus Intelligent Driving Bus System" is equipped with laser radar, millimeter-wave radar, camera, GPS. The system can sense the environment and analyze road condition via Industrial Personal Computer (IPC), Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and CAN network.
The system can detect the surroundings continuously with its high-frequency laser beam sent by 16 laser head. 100-meter ranging with 2cm precision obtained can help the bus locate its position and avoid barriers effectively and accurately.
Moreover, the system is able to "sense" passengers and other vehicles on the road. Slowing down to give way, emergency cut-off, bypassing barriers, changing lanes and stopping, all these are automatically!
It is so smart!
If the bus is at the turning, its steering wheels will rotates automatically. Before it arrives at the bus station, it will change the lane and turn on the steering lamp in advance.
If the bus “feels” passenger or barrier in front of it, it will brake immediately.

What if such emergency happens in real condition?
Don’t worry! Besides from the intelligent driving system, there are also the manual driving modes, under which, the driver can control the bus to deal with the emergency.
Overload? Impossible
According to the report, the bus will be in full load if there are up to 25 passengers (with 17 seats and 8 standings).
40-min battery charge and 150km endurance mileage.
25km/h average running speed with 40km/h in maximum!
Then, what if overload?
Well, it will just stop there and won’t move at all!
Therefore, you will never suffer from congestion in such automatically intelligent bus!

So far, “Alphabus Intelligent Driving Bus System” is first launched in three places in Shenzhen including Guoyue Science and Technology Park, Southern University of Science and Technology and Futian FTZ on a trial basis for 4 months and 8,000km accumulative testing mileages. During the time, passengers who are invited can take the bus for free!

How to buy ticket
Besides from the transportation card and mobile payment app of “Shenzhentong”, transportation cards of other cities including Beijing, Chongqing, Nanjing, Suzhou and Guangzhou are available to buy tickets on the unmanned bus.
Meanwhile, passengers can pay bus ticket by scanning QR code in “Shenzhentong” app.
