Apple CEO Tim Cook, CEO of Tencent Ma Huateng, Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma and Foxconn Technology Group Chairman Terry Gou will be among the participants, according to Alan Murray, chief content officer of Time Inc and editor-in-chief of Fortune magazine.
A total of 388 participating companies, of which 152 Fortune 500 companies, 72 industry leaders, 164 other enterprises. More than 1000 Chinese and foreign representatives will attend this forum.

A higher proportion than ever of CEO and Fortune Global 500, and more than 10,000 representatives from different countries and industries participated the forum.

Participants at the Guangzhou forum are expected to exchange their thoughts on the prospects of the world's second largest economy, the implications of China's rising middle class, rapid urbanization and expanding digital technologies, as well as how the country's Belt and Road Initiative will reshape global trade.

Big benefits for foreign investment
in Guangzhou
Recently, Guangdong has issued ten measures to boost foreign investment.
"The policy focuses on key issues like market access, land use, talent support, which are focal points for foreign enterprises," said Director-General of Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province.

The new measures will further the province's opening-up, create a favorable business environment for foreign investment, especially for Fortune 500 companies, enterprises looking to situate their HQ in the province, and leading enterprises in the field of innovation.

It is said that the ten measures took credit for attracting large foreign enterprises like Siemens and Exxon Mobil Corporation in preliminary research. Policy briefing will be conducted for consulate generals in Guangzhou and foreign chambers of commerce in the province.
