导读:It is all about raising global awareness about consumer rights and needs.

Yesterday, March 15, was World Consumer Rights Day to protect Consumer’s rights, celebrating annually by consumer organizations worldwide. But in China, you may get into a miraculous case.

One week before there was an news about knock-off in China. QIAODAN Brand accused Jordan Brand for tort and claimed for compensation. Even we all know Jordan Brand is authentic but it is difficult to sanction the knock-offs.

What is QIAODAN Brand?

It is imitation from Micheal Jordan. We call Jordan QIAODAN in China. So some people don’t realize that they buy the knock-offs but feel satisfied for processing the knock-off Jordan.

March 15 is for consumers to avoid buying knock-offs. Especially in China, there is so many knock-off brands. Some of them are clownish but if you are first time or rarely live in china, you would be cheated probably.

We collect some funny knock-off brands to show you for improving your watchfulness to the cheap copies. ↓↓↓

Is your new makeup, Thomas?

Burger Ring or Burger King?

I shoes or I phone?

Mike or Nike?

Or KNIE?

You think you can escape from this? Adidas.

PolyStation or PlayStation?

How to Distinguish the FAKE BRANDS?

The bulk of knock-off brands can be distinguished easily. Nevertheless, some Knock-offs are looked like very real, even with the same name. So you need to pay attention to below situations.

Shopping Online

In fact, it is the most probable to buy the fake products from the online. With some characteristics, you can recognize which one is knock-off.

Good comments for cashback.

Some sellers would tell you if you give a good buyer praise to the online-store after taking delivery of product soon, you will get 2 or 5yuan back. Actually, it means that the product is knock-off or inferior quality. They want to spend hush money to cover this before you find the truth.

Abnormal low price.

For example, searching “Nike” on Taobao or WeChat Business you will find out that some products looked like the same with a vast difference prices. Then you think you can buy a low price Nike in China? Wrong!

All of the big brand products at low price on the internet are delicate knock-off. These products possess the same appearance and details that you can’t distinguish it fake or real by checking the online pictures out. And there is no such discount even Double Eleven.

Some big brands in the remote areas.

Especially fast food, such as KFC, Mcdonald’s or Burger King. You can see the MFC, OFC, or random letter FC. These knock-offs has the same price as quality goods and unqualified sanitation or taste.

Watch market is another severely afflicted area of the knock-off. In a little, faraway city without Starbucks, Mcdonald’s or Nike, can you believe that you can find so many internationally known watch brands? Patek Philippe, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin and Breguet, etc. You can buy one for almost 500yuan. And some people really like to buy one because they can feel better in front of others with low cost.

What if your company’s brand

was plagiarized in China?

When you find out your company brand was plagiarized, you can handle it by below ways.

  • You can report it to the industry and commerce department. That’s the official channel for merchants to safeguard their rights. However, it is tiring but effective. March 15 will be the best time to do it.

  • You can exposure the act of unscrupulous merchant to media, like Sina Microblog. The media’s power can blow the knock-offs and enhance the awareness of the consumers. Meanwhile, your company’s brand can be known more.

  • Contacting the people who cracks down on counterfeit goods professionally. There are some people have treat the cracking down on fake products as their job because the government will award them if they can provide the enough information of the Knock-offs. So if you can’t deal with it, delivering the material to them would be a good choice.
