Probably many people love keeping pets, but do you know that foreigners are available to keep dogs in Guangzhou? But the the precondition is making a license for them. So today , we`re going to tell you how to make a Dog-keeping License in Guangzhou.
Most districts of Guangzhou are Pets Limited Area, each person is allowed to apply for keeping only one dog. And requirements below should be met:
①Having permanent residence of the city or Home-visiting certificate for compatriots from Hong Kong & Macau or Passport
② Having full civil capacity
③ Having independent unit or house（residence）
④ The length of the pet dog should less than 60cm,the height should less than 40cm.
The Pets Limited Area implement the license policy, without permission, no unit or individual can keep dogs
Get the Registration Form from the local police station, compatriots from Hong Kong & Macau & Taiwan should bring the Home-visiting certificate, foreigners should bring the passport
Bring the approval of the police station to the the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Administrative Department(AHVAD) with your dog and the color photos of it. The AHVAD will take quarantine programs for your dog and issue the《Dog Immunization Certificate》
Bring the 《Dog Immunization Certificate》and related documents to the police station, once being approved they will issue the “Payment Notice”
Bring the “Payment Notice” to nominated bank and pay the bill , the Public Security Organs will issue the《Dog-keeping License》and Dog Tag
The management fee of the first year is 500RMB, and 300RMB for the following years
①Full-filling form of the Dog-keeping Application
②The ID card or other identity documents of the owner, compatriots from Hong Kong & Macau & Taiwan should bring the Home-visiting certificate, foreigners should bring the passport
③One inch photo of the owner ( 1 pic), 2R photo (flank standing) of the dog (2 pics)
④Keeping a sterilization dog, you should provide the steriliazation proof of the AHVAD
⑤The Blind and the disabled who want to keep See-ing eye dogs and Guide dogs should provide related proof documents
①Put on the leash and the dog tag for your pet, when you walk the dog outside
②Give way to the passer-by, especially the old, the disabled, pregnant woman and children
③Stop dog`s barking and aggressive behavior
④Clean up dog`s excreta immediatelty
⑤Only the adult can take the dogs out alone
⑥Keeping a dog is not easy, please take good care of it. Don`t maltreat or abandon it.
⑦Keeping a dog without License and do not correct the mistake after being found by the police, you will be fined 2000RMB and your dog will be confiscated.
