Simple Calculation Formula

*Remark: if a foreigner's salary is more than 4,800RMB, you need to pay personal tax.

For Example: Case A

If one person's salary is 10000RMB, his personal tax should be:

10000RMB-4800RMB=5200RMB 

5200RMB belong to Item 3 (more than 4500RMB to 9000RMB)

So 5200RMB*20%=1040RMB and cut the Item 3 pay deduction 555RMB. 

In the end, the personal tax is 1040RMB-555RMB=485RMB

For Example: Case B

If one person's salary is 20000RMB, then his personal tax should be :

20000RMB-4800RMB=15200RMB 

15200RMB belong to Item 4(more than 9000RMB to 35000RMB)

So 15200RMB*25%=3800RMB and cut the Item 4 Pay Deduction 1005RMB. 

In the end, the personal tax is 3800RMB-1005RMB=2795RMB
