So, we are here to tell you what you should prepare when you apply for the Diploma Verification from Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE).
According to the CSCSE, the applying procedure for expats is the same as that for Chinese Overseas Students:
Application Materials
❶ A two-inch (passport-size) ID photo with a light background.
❷ The original Degree Certificate and its photocopy.
❸ The original Transcript and its photocopy.
❹ The translated version of the Transcript.
❺ Fill out the Declaration, which authorizes and consents CSCSE to make enquries about your personal information for purposes of qualification evaluation.

❻ The original Passport and its photocopy.
Key: Passport-related Materials
There are different requirements on passport-related materials:
❶ Birthplace is not China
Original nationality = country where the diploma was awarded:
Only the original front page of passport and its photocopy are needed.
Original nationality ≠ country where the diploma was awarded:
Besides from the original front page of passport and its photocopy, you also need to submit each record of exit & entry and all your visa records as well.
❷ Birthplace is right here in China
Naturalize into foreign country after getting the Diploma:
The original and photocopy of the front page of new passport and old passport. Each record of exit & entry and all your visa records should be included.
Naturalize into foreign country before getting the Diploma:
Only the original front page of passport and its photocopy are needed.
