
From Apr. 29th, 2018, Foreign passengers aged from 14 to 70 years old who enter China via Baiyun International Airport shall be required to collect fingerprints.
Here's Foreigner Fingerprint Self-collection guidance.

When collection is finished, you will get a receipt. Please take this receipt and go through “lanes for foreigners who have collected fingerprints ” for check.

Fingerprint Collection Areas can be found nearby A101, A109, A113 and A123 in Terminal 1,and A152,A154 in Terminal 2.

Upon arrival, please go to the nearest Foreigner Fingerprint Collection Area to collect fingerprints according to the signposts or guidance of the staff.

Instruction
With over 20 kinds of languages, the machine can recognize your passport immediately. Please choose the language you are familiar with, and collect your fingerprints according to the signs.

From right to left, here is...

the Receipt Slot.

Stand according to the footprint signs, press 'Start' button and place your passport's data page on the scanner. ⬇

Scan your passort
Scan your fingerprints by the following order:four left hand fingers--four right hand fingers--two thumbs. ⬇
4 left-hand fingerprints
4 left-hand fingerprints
2 thumb fingerprints
If you have scanned your 10 fingerprints before, or if you are younger than 14 or older than 70, you will get the receipt as soon as you scan your passport.
When finished, you will get a receipt. ⬇

Go through "Fingerprint Collected lanes" for immigration check with the receipt. ⬇

Show your receipt to the immigration officer, you will be required to verify your fingerprints on the machine at the immigration counter. ⬇

Exceptional Circumstances
Foreigners who enter the People’s Republic of China are exempt from providing fingerprints if:
With diplomatic passports, European Union Laissez-Passers, and Chinese diplomatic or courtesy visas, except for those whose countries have reciprocal arrangements with China.
You are exempt from providing fingerprints in accordance with bilateral agreements or reciprocal arrangements.
Foreign government officials (vice minister level or above) and delegation members who are given pre-arrival clearance which has been approved by the Ministry of Public Security.
None of their fingerprints is able to be collected.
People with approval from the Ministry of Public Security under particular circumstances.
