According to a report by a Russian media, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (the country's central bank) would issue 2000 gold coins called "Mosi-oa-Tunya " and introduced them into the market as a store of value, hoping to ease the serious domestic inflation.

该金币重量为1盎司，使用22k黄金制成，直径32毫米，厚度2.63毫米。金币正面铸有津巴布韦国徽图案、发行年份以及重量、成分字样，背面铸有维多利亚瀑布图案、发行国家名称字样、津巴布韦鸟图案、该国通加族语“雷鸣雨雾”字样等。

The coin weighs 1 ounce and is made of 22k yellow gold with a diameter of 32mm and a thickness of 2.63mm. Its front is cast with the Zimbabwe national emblem pattern, the year of issue, and the words of weight and composition. The back is cast with a pattern of the Victoria Falls, the name of the issuing country, the Zimbabwe bird pattern, and the words " Mosi-oa-Tunya " in the Tonga language.

金币的发行价格将基于国际黄金价格，并附加5%的生产和分销成本。每枚的初始价格为1823.8美元。

The price of these gold coins will be based on the international gold price with an additional 5% production and distribution costs.The initial price is $1823.8 per coin.

津巴布韦储备银行表示，当天起本国企业或个人可以用本国货币、美元或其他外币购买金币，而外国买家只能以外币来购买。金币持有者应该至少保留金币180天后才能转卖，之后津巴布韦储备银行或相关授权机构可将其买回。

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe said that, domestic companies or individuals can buy gold coins in their own currency, U.S. dollars or other foreign currencies, while foreign buyers can only buy in foreign currencies. Buyers should keep the coins for at least 180 days before they can resell them, after which the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe or relevant authorized institutions can buy them back.

据介绍，此次发行金币预计将在未来6个月内大幅减少市场上的过剩现金，降低对美元的需求，并阻止津元贬值。

It is said that the issuance of gold coins is expected to significantly reduce excess cash in the market in the next six months, reduce demand for US dollars, and prevent the devaluation of the Zimbabwe currency.
