100 basis points! Riksbank announced to raise its interest rates

当地时间9月20日，瑞典央行宣布将基准利率从0.75%大幅提升至1.75%！瑞典8月的CPI年率超预期升至9%，创下1991年来新高。

On September 20, local time, Sweden’s Riksbank announced a 100 basis point hike to interest rates, taking its main policy rate from 0.75% to 1.75%! Sweden's CPI in August rose more-than-expected to an annual rate of 9%, the highest since 1991.

瑞典央行表示，目前的通胀实在太高了，高通胀正在削弱家庭的购买力，将会根据需要调整货币政策，确保通胀回到目标水平。

The central bank said that inflation is too high, and it was undermining households’ purchasing power. The Riksbank will adapt monetary policy as necessary to ensure that inflation is brought back to the target.

瑞典中央统计局9月14日发布的数据显示，瑞典8月通货膨胀率达9%，刷新1991年12月以来最高纪录。

According to data released by Sweden's Central Statistics Office on September 14, Sweden's inflation rate reached 9% in August, the highest since December 1991.

为抑制通胀，瑞典央行已从7月6日起，将基准利率从0.25%提升至0.75%，此次更是直接跨越至1.75%。但加息对瑞典经济造成了很大冲击，预计明年瑞典的GDP可能会萎缩0.7%。

In order to curb inflation, the Riksbank has raised the benchmark interest rate from 0.25% to 0.75% since July 6, and this time it has directly hopped to 1.75%. But this rate hike has dealt a big blow to the Swedish economy, which is expected to decrease by 0.7% next year.

瑞典央行的暴力加息举措，让市场开始担忧，美联储是否也会宣布加息100个基点。

Sweden's central bank's violent act has made the market worry about whether the Federal Reserve will also announce a 100 basis point hike.

美联储不断加快的加息步伐，使得美元走强，其他货币相继贬值。为避免贬值幅度越拉越大，各国央行也不得不跟随美联储被迫加息。

The Fed's accelerating pace of interest rate hikes has made the dollar stronger and other currencies depreciate. In order to avoid more depreciation, central banks have to raise interest rates, following the Fed.

在欧洲市场，英国央行的决定更受关注。市场预计，英国央行很可能加息75个基点，这也将成为33年来最大幅度的一次加息。

In European markets, the Bank of England's decision was more closely watched. The market expects that the Bank of England is likely to raise interest rates by 75 basis points, which will also be the largest rate hike in 33 years.

美联储的不断加息，除了控制高企的通胀，还想通过加息不断拉高美元指数，从而使其他国家汇率大幅贬值，最后进行金融收割。

The Fed's hikes, apart from easing high inflation, also aim at continuously raising the dollar index, thereby leading the exchange rates of other countries to drop sharply, so as to enjoy the financial harvests.

若美联储持续加息，那么将会有越来越多国家，因为汇率崩塌而导致资本外逃。

If the Fed keeps raising its interest rates, there will be more and more countries to experience capital flight due to the collapse of the exchange rate.

也因此，今年来不少国家开始不断抛售美债，日本、瑞士、比利时等国都不同程度地减持了美债。

As a result, many countries have started to sell U.S. debt more or less this year, such as Japan, Switzerland, Belgium.
