The applicant applies to the Inland Revenue Department for a "Notice of No Objection to A Company Being Deregistered" and pays the relevant fees. Note that this notice is not available to any companies haven’t paid all outstanding taxes and business registration fees.

The Commissioner of IRD issues the " Confirmation on Notice of No Objection to A Company Being Deregistered ".
The applicant submits the "Application for Deregistration" and other required documents to the Companies Registry and pay the relevant fees.
The Companies Registry will punish the degisteration in the gazette (if no written objection is received). Then the HK company is officially deregistered.
