来华签证终于到手啦！收拾行李准备入境中国啦！

但入境后并不是万事大吉了，你还要去申请居留许可！

However, things won’t be set well until you get a residence permit after entering the country.

如果你所持签证是工作签证（Z），学习签证（X1 / X2），外国记者签证（J1）或居民签证（D），必须在入境后30天内到停留地公安机关申请居留许可，否则会被认为是非法居留，面临罚款和驱逐出境的惩罚，甚至以后无法再申请来华签证。

If you are holding a work visa (Z), a study visa (X1/X2), a foreign journalist visa (J1) or a resident visa (D), you are required to apply a residence permit in the local Public Security Bureau within 30 days upon arrival. Otherwise, your stay will be illegal, and you will face fines and deportation, or even cannot apply for a visa to China again in the future.

而申请居留许可，必须要先进行体检并提供体检证明。

To apply for a residence permit, you must first undergo a physical examination and provide a physical examination report.

外籍人员可以选择在中国境外完成体检，获得经中国检验检疫机构认可的境外卫生医疗机构出具的体检证明，机构名单可至当地中国驻外使领馆网站查询。

You can choose to undergo the physical examination outside China and obtain the physical examination report issued by an overseas health and medical institution recognized by the Chinese inspection and quarantine institution. The list of recognized institutions can be queried on the website of the local Chinese embassies and consulates abroad.

也可以入境中国后再体检，但需要在入境前提供承诺书，承诺入境后补充境内检验检疫机构出具的体检证明并承担风险。且要在中国境内指定的机构进行体检，只有这些机构出具的体检证明才是有效的。 

You can also take the physical examination in the designated institutions in China after entry, but a letter of commitment needs to be provided. It shows your commitment to undergo physical examination and provide a report issued by the domestic inspection and quarantine institution and bear all consequences. And only the physical examination reports issued by designated institutions are valid. 

入境后申领工作许可或各类居留许可时，都要补充提交中国境内检验检疫机构出具的有效的体检证明。

When applying for a work permit or residence permits, a valid physical examination report issued by the inspection and quarantine institution in China shall be submitted.

每个城市都有指定的外国人体检机构，但不建议跨城市办理，如果你要在广州申请居留许可，尽量在广州指定机构进行体检并获得体检证明。因为尽管同是国内官方指定机构，但各城市政策或有些不同，跨地域办理了体检的外国人可能会被重新要求体检。

Every city has a designated physical examination institution for foreigners, but it is not recommended to do a physical examination in the city that you are not planning for your permit. That is, if you are applying for a residence permit in Guangzhou, you better have the physical examination at a designated institution in Guangzhou and get the report, not in any other cities. After all, policies may differ from city to city, foreigners who have gone through physical examination may be required to do it again when applying for a permit in another city.

接下来我们就以广州为例，谈谈如何完成体检。

Now, we are taking Guangzhou as an example, to show how to get the physical examination done well.

01

在线预约 Make an online appointment

在体检前7-15天，需在广州国际旅行卫生保健中心的微信公众号进行预约。

7 to 15 days before you schedule for a physical examination, make an appointment via the official WeChat account of the Guangzhou International Travel Health Care Center “广州国际旅行卫生保健中心”.

*公众号预约时间为8:00～20:00（每天），其他时间暂停服务。

*The appointment function is available from 8:00 to 20:00 (every day), and is suspended at other times.

准备资料 Prepare required documents

1、护照或其他旅行证件原件

A valid original passport or other travel documents

2、护照复印件（个人信息页、最新签证页、最新入境章）

Copies of the passport (including the information page, the latest visa page and the latest entry stamp)

3、正面40*32mm免冠照片5张

Five photos (40*32mm full face)

4、解除隔离证明

Proof of releasing from isolation

5、核酸检测报告原件及复印件

Negative nucleic acid test report and its copy

03

体检 Do the physical examination

携带所需材料并在预约时间内前往广州国际旅行卫生保健中心进行体检。

Bring all the required materials with you and go to the Guangzhou International Travel Health Care Center for physical examination at the appointed time.

*体检费用约500元人民币，耗时最少1-2小时。

*The examination costs about 500 RMB, and at least 1-2 hours.

04

领取体检证明 Obtain your report

体检结束后，会拿到一份用于领取体检证明的回执单，务必要保管好。一般情况下，4-5个工作日即可领取证明。

After all checks are done, you will get a ticket (or receipt) for getting the physical examination report, so keep it well and do not lose it. Generally, you can get the report within 4-5 working days.

体检报告有两份，分别装在白色与黄色的密封信封中（白色信封交给外专局，黄色信封交给出入境），不可私自拆封。

There are two copies of the physical examination report, which are respectively packed in a white and yellow sealed envelope (the white envelope shall be submitted to the Foreign Experts Affairs Bureau, and the yellow one shall be submitted to the entry-exit department). It is not allowed to open the envelope without permission.

体检证明有效期为6个月，遗失后可到体检中心交费补办。

A physical examination report is valid for only 6 months. If it is lost, you can go to the examination center to pay for a replacement.

<Notice>

1、体检的前2-3天应注意休息，不饮酒、不吃油腻食物。

It is not recommended to drink alcohol within 2-3 days before physical examination.

2、体检前8-12小时尽量不要进食，保持空腹状态。

Please keep the stomach empty for at least 8 hours. (Except for the water).

3、正在发热的申请人，应考虑暂缓进行体检及预防接种。

Physical examination is not recommended during the fever.

4、需长期服用药物的申请人，如高血压、糖尿病等患者及服用激素者，体检当天应正常服药，以免造成病情波动。必要时请携带目前所使用的药物。

Applicants taking medication regularly, such as patients with hypertension, diabetes and hormone users, should take medicine normally on the day of physical examination to avoid fluctuations in their condition. If necessary, please bring the medicine currently used.

5、未满18周岁的申请人需在父母或者监护人的陪同下前来办理体检及预防接种相关事宜。

Person under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
