9月23日，香港特区行政长官李家超在记者会上公布4个入境检疫新安排，9月26日生效。
On September 23, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee, announced at a press conference four new arrangements for entry quarantine, which will take effect on September 26.
1、由机场入境检疫安全将由“3+4”改为“0+3”（即入境后不需酒店隔离，并只需居家检疫3日）。
Quarantine time after entry will be changed from "3+4" to "0+3", that is, no isolation in hotel but only 3-day home quarantine is required upon arrival.
入境旅客可以选择在家或酒店接受为期三天的“医学观察”，期间可自由外出，但不能进入食肆等场所。
Inbound travelers can choose to undergo three days of “medical surveillance” at home or at a hotel, during which they will be allowed to go out but cannot enter restaurants.
2、取消上机前必先取得核酸检测阴性证明，用快测代替。
No need to obtain a negative nucleic acid test report before boarding, and a quick test is accepted instead.
旅客抵港后，需要在机场接受核酸检测，随即可乘坐公共交通工具返回家或酒店等候核酸结果，无需在机场等候结果。
People will still need to take a PCR test upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, but they will be allowed to head home or to a hotel immediately, taking their preferred transportation, without waiting for the test result at airport.
初次核酸结果出来后，旅客可在“安心出行”APP中获取黄色通行码。
After receiving a negative result from that initial test, travelers will be issued an yellow QR code in the LeaveHomeSafe app.
