环球银行金融电信协会（SWIFT）数据显示，人民币国际支付份额于2021年12月提高至2.7%，超过日元成为全球第四位支付货币，2022年1月进一步提升至3.2%，创历史新高。

The Chinese currency renminbi (RMB), or the yuan, climbed one position, surpassing the Japanese yen, to become the fourth most active currency for global payments by value in December 2021, with a share of 2.7%, said the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), a global provider of financial messaging services. This figure even further increased to 3.2% in January 2022, a record high.

2021年以来，人民币跨境收付金额在上年高基数的基础上延续增长态势。2021年，银行代客人民币跨境收付金额合计为36.6万亿元，同比增长29%，收付金额创历史新高。人民币跨境收支总体平衡，全年累计净流入4044.7亿元。

Since 2021, the amount of RMB cross-border receipts and payments has continued to grow on the high base of the previous year. In 2021, the total amount of RMB cross-border receipts and payments by banks on behalf of customers reached a record high of 36.6 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29%. RMB cross-border receipts and payments were generally balanced, with a cumulative net inflow of 404.47 billion yuan throughout the year.

第三名是英镑，国际支付的占比超过6%，英国是老牌的发达国家，金融业非常发达，伦敦是世界金融中心之一。不过，英国的总体国力相对下滑了，今年上半年英国GDP被印度反超，跌至全球第六，英镑近期跌幅较大，年内已经跌超20%，英镑兑美元或跌破平价。

The third is the British pound, accounting for more than 6% of international payments. The United Kingdom is an established developed country with a very developed financial industry, with London being one of the world's financial centers. However, the overall national strength of the UK has declined relatively. In the first half of this year, the UK’s GDP was overtaken by India and fell to the sixth place in the world. The pound has fallen sharply recently by more than 20% during the year, and may fall to equivalent against the US dollar.

第二名是欧元，欧元的国际支付占比为36.5%，欧元之所以有这么高的支付占比，和背后的欧元区国家密切相关，欧元强势地位来自27个成员国的经济、贸易往来，尤其是德国、法国、意大利，都是全球经济强国。

The second is the euro, accounting for 36.5% of international payments. It takes such a high proportion mainly with support of the 27 member states in euro area behind it, among which Germany, France, and Italy are all global economic powerhouses.

第一名是美元，国际支付占比为39.9%。自二战后，美国主导的布雷顿森林会议确立了以美元为核心的世界货币体系，美元与黄金挂钩，“美金”的说法由此而来，到了70年代美元与黄金解绑，又与石油深度绑定，大宗商品交易以美元结算，美元的货币地位仍然很高，不过和巅峰时期相比已开始下降。

The first place is the US dollar, accounting for 39.9%. Since World War II, the Bretton Woods Conference led by the United States established a world currency system with the dollar as the core, connecting dollar directly to gold. Although the US dollar was unbound from gold in the 1970s, it was deeply bound to oil, and commodity transactions were settled in US dollars. The currency status of the US dollar was still high, but it has begun to weaken compared with its peak.

国际货币基金组织（IMF）发布的官方外汇储备货币构成（COFER）数据显示，2022年一季度，人民币在全球外汇储备中的占比达2.88%，较2016年人民币刚加入特别提款权（SDR）货币篮子时上升1.8个百分点，在主要储备货币中排名第五。2022年5月，国际货币基金组织将人民币在特别提款权中权重由10.92%上调至12.28%，反映出对人民币可自由使用程度提高的认可。

As the Currency Composition of Official Foreign Exchange Reserves (COFER) data released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said, in the first quarter of 2022, the RMB accounted for 2.88% of the global foreign exchange reserves, which is 1.8% higher than that when the RMB joined the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) in 2016, ranking fifth among the major reserve currencies. In May 2022, the IMF raised the weight of the RMB in the special drawing rights from 10.92% to 12.28%, showing its recognition of the increased degree of free use of the RMB.

中国人民银行表示，下一阶段，将统筹好发展和安全，以市场驱动、企业自主选择为基础，稳慎推进人民币国际化。

The People's Bank of China stated that in the next stage, it will balance development and security, and steadily promote the internationalization of the RMB based on market-driven and independent choice by enterprises.
