     Land and sea combined to create a true French Terroir


Madec家族将农场建在了安贝尔(the Abers),这里是著名的布列塔尼峡湾地区。延伸进陆地的海湾和入海的河流在此交汇,为农场带来了优质水源。

The Madec family established their farms in the Abers, which is known as the Breton Fjords, branches of the sea which penetrate into the lands and allow the confluence of the ocean and fresh river water.

Twice a day along with the tide, a slow natural mixing between those two kinds of water happens in the Abers. It carries an important mass of plankton and oligo elements essential to the growth of oysters.

3- An authentic oyster farming know-how 


Prat-Ar-Coum公司拥有分布于不同地方的优质生蚝养殖场超过100公顷,分别位于:

- 莫尔莱海湾(25公顷)-深水养殖场

- 菲尼斯特北岸的安贝尔(Benoît and Wrac'h)

The Prat-Ar-Coum company owns an exceptional domain stretching over 100 hectares spread over:

- Brest Bay (55 ha),

- Morlaix Bay (25 ha) - with deep water farms -

- and Abers (Benoît and Wrac'h) in the northern coast of Finister.

Depending on the oyster size and of their desired meat contents, Yvon Madec adapts his farming methods. He decides to move the oysters from park to park, from estuary to the bottom of abers.
