Ham-Cheese Palm With Mustard

1 puff pastry 1块起酥皮

1 egg yolk 1个蛋黄

5 slices of Broceliande ham 5片火腿

50g grated Emmental cheese

50克磨碎的艾门塔尔芝士

3 tablespoons Fine Dijon Mustard 

3勺第戎芥末酱



PREPARATION

Unroll puff pastry and spread with Dijon mustard.

展开起酥皮并涂上第戎芥末。


Cut the ham slices into strips and cover with mustard. Sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese.

将火腿切成条状覆上芥末,撒上磨碎的艾门塔尔芝士。


Roll the right edge towards the center of the dough, then the left edge, tightening well. Place the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

Take the dough out of the freezer and cut it into approximately 5 mm slices. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the palms on top.

The secret of this recipe also lies in the mixture of mustard, plump gherkins and softened butter (soft butter, at room temperature) which you are going to gaily spread on your slices of white bread.

 200g Figs washed and dried

100g Brown sugar 100克黄糖
15g Apple cider vinegar 15克苹果醋
1 pinch Ginger powder 1撮生姜粉
1 pinch Grated nutmeg 1撮肉豆蔻

1 pinch Salt and pepper 1撮盐和胡椒


PREPARATION 

120MINS/ 4P

Dip the figs in 30 cl of boiling water and let them inflate for 20 minutes. Then drain them and cut them into small pieces.

Cook the onions in the oil then add the sugar, the figs and cook for 5 minutes, stirring. Pour vinegar and spices and let simmer for an hour while watching.
