La Mère Poulard is a French baking company from the island of Mont-Saint Michel, and was founded in 1888 by Annette Poulard. Her biscuits quickly became famous to the pilgrims who traveled to the island and soon the word spread farther and farther until she became known worldwide!

La Mère Poulard has been baking greatness since 1888 with natural ingredients such as eggs and butter. After opening her restaurant, she carried on baking daily her famous Butter Biscuits for the great pleasure of her customers and the pilgrims.
