中日韩地区普遍以白为美，夏天的时候小姑凉个个都打着伞，电视上也毫不避讳地做着美白产品的广告。可是一个9岁的美国小男孩看到用美颜App处理过的自拍照，便脱口而出这个app种族歧视啊。
当人种纯度较大的同种族内部的审美标准，以APP为载体跨越国界，到达多人种大熔炉——美国时成了种族歧视。到底美国人太敏感？还是我们真的从来没有想过美白或许真的是一种朴素的种族歧视主义呢？

FaceApp is not the first beautifying app to spark controversy over racism claims.

Earlier this year people accused the popular photo editing app Meitu of giving users 'yellow face'.

The free Chinese Meitu app is available for both Android and iPhone, and can be used for regular photo editing, like removing blemishes or even giving yourself a 'virtual facelift.'

Confused? What people are bothered about is that the app overlays Western faces with Chinese ideas of beauty (the app’s made in China). So, the theory goes, LOLing at Meitu is a little bit racist. Either that, or it’s just another photo app.
还是拎不清楚？让人们感到困扰的是美图将中国人所认为的美铺在西方人的脸上。于是闹出了这样的笑话，说美图秀秀也种族歧视，呵呵哒。还是说它只不过又是一个图片编辑app罢了。
