• 2-Ethylphenol: A chemical that keeps us active and alert.

• 3,5 Dicaffeoylquinic acid: A component responsible for protecting us from neuron damage.

• Trigonelline: A form of vitamin B3 that fights with the cavity-causing bacteria in our mouth.

• Niacin: Vitamin B3, which is cell-rejuvenating and prevents dementia.

Adenosine is a neurochemical which makes us feel sleepy. When you drink coffee, caffeine enters your body, it works with the receptors that detect adenosine and blocks them from performing their regular function, and then prevents you from getting sleep. Researchers attribute these results to the antidepressant properties of caffeine. They also observed that people become happier and developed more positive thinking on regular consumption of coffee.

• If you are a gym lover, caffeine can boost your strength training results, provided that you drink a cup of coffee an hour before starting your gym session.
