当地时间4月8日晚，18岁的墨西哥女孩德巴妮·艾斯克瓦尔(Debanhi Escobar)独自搭乘出租车回家，但她在中途下了车，女孩自此失踪13天。4月21日，她的尸体在一家汽车旅馆的地下水箱中被发现。
01 失踪13天

The autopsy report that went public showed she sustained at least one blow to the head and that there was no water inside her lungs, suggesting she was killed in a different spot and then thrown into the tank. New evidence also confirmed Escobar was sexually assaulted.

Escobar’s driver Juan David Cuellar told Mexican television that he “only tried to help” but she “was drunk or something.” A few hours after Cuellar’s interview was aired, Ivonne and Sarahi, two other girls who were with her the night she disappeared, said during the interview that Escobar was “was acting crazy and she even attacked us.”

Hundreds of women marched through downtown Mexico City and its suburbs on Sunday to protest the horrifying death.The demonstrators, mainly women, carried signs reading "No to Harassment" and "Mexico is a mass grave."
