2025年5月13至24日，第78届戛纳电影节（The 78th Cannes Film Festival）在法国南部海滨城市戛纳掀起浪潮。戛纳不仅是全球影迷心中的至高殿堂，更是时尚潮流的重要风向标。众多明星在戛纳红毯上精心装扮，博取关注。

"For decency reasons, nuidty is prohibited on the Red Carpet, as well as in any other area of the Festival. Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flower of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted."
戛纳官方规定，“为合乎礼仪，红毯及电影节其它场合禁止裸露。因可能造成通行不便及就座困难，大型礼服，特别是拖尾礼服，不允入场。”
According to Agnès Leroy, the head of press for the festival, the new rules were established to codify certain practices that have been long in effect. The aim, she said, “is not to regulate attire per se, but to prohibit full nudity — meaning the absence of clothing — on the red carpet, in accordance with the institutional framework of the event and French law.”
从官方措辞来看，“裸露”的定义似乎并不明确。戛纳新闻主管Agnès Leroy表示，新规则只是把戛纳一直以来都在施行的隐形规范摆在了明面上：其目的不是规范服装本身，而是根据活动秩序及法国法规规定，禁止在红毯上完全裸体（full nudity)。

同时，为了尽可能多地吸引关注或表达态度，夸张的大拖尾造型（large train)也十分常见。但是，大型礼服往往因阻碍人流而引发不满。

As Cannes veteran Pisano described, speaking to Vogue Business, in recent years the carpet has been with influencers intentionally wearing the "craziest, most insane, biggest thing they can find… They take up the most space on the red carpet and," with thousands of people needing to get into the cinemas, "everybody gets clogged up".
戛纳业内人士Pisano在《Vogue Business》杂志的采访更是指出，近年来，红毯上被网红们“攻占”。他们故意“穿着能找到的最疯狂、最夸张、最庞大的服装，占据了红毯上大量的空间。成千上万的人需要进入电影院，但所有人都被堵住了”。

“A lot of the stylists that I’ve been talking to are really freaked out,” says cultural critic Louis Pisano. He flags that Cannes always been conservative and that, in recent years, they’ve been clamping down on the rules.

戛纳在女性着装规范上的严苛要求，与对男性着装 “网开一面” 的态度形成鲜明对比，引发热议。
Critics have pointed out that the new rules seem to primarily target women's attire, while imposing relatively lenient requirements on men's clothing. For instance, the new regulations merely stipulate a simple requirement for men to wear "tuxedos or dark suits," without setting specific limits on the volume or details of their outfits.
批评人士指出，新规似乎主要是针对女性着装，对男性的着装要求则相对宽松。例如，新规仅对男性着装提出了“燕尾服或深色西装”的简单要求，并未对服装的体积或细节做出具体限制。

For some, including Rose McGowan, so-called naked dressing is about empowerment. And many observers also pointed out glaring double standards.

"Bare skin is banned on the carpet, yet once inside, it's right there on the screen. Almost always female, of course," wrote Boring Not Com. "Let's not forget, this is the same festival that turned women away for wearing flats in 2015. All while still rolling out the red carpet for Roman Polanski [who in 1978 fled the US ahead of sentencing for the rape of a minor]."

5月18日，一位网友在X上发帖：“Kevin Spacey、Ezra Miller、Shia LaBeouf以及更多臭名昭著的好莱坞虐待狂在戛纳四处招摇；但不知为何，裸装和大礼服却成了大问题？” /X
大型礼服禁令也引发了批评。
“Saying what [women] can’t do won’t solve the issue [because it] suggests that the only way women can get our attention is by wearing huge clothes,” Walter says. It simply boosts the idea that “women are not appreciated for their talent so they feel the need to take up space in other ways”.
女权主义者、作家Natasha Walter指出：“‘规定女性不能做什么’并不能解决什么问题，因为这暗示着，女性吸引注意力的唯一方式就是穿巨型的衣服。它只会强化这样一种观念，即女性无法因才华而受到赏识，于是只能用其它方式‘占据一席之地’。”
