Artemis 2 looped around the moon's far side today (April 6), in a nearly seven-hour encounter that gave its four astronauts views of Earth's nearest neighbor that human eyes had never seen before.
2026年4月6日，“阿尔忒弥斯二号”顺利完成环绕月球远端飞行任务，四名宇航员进入月球引力范围，并在飞往月球背面的过程中，已达到距地球约25.3万英里的最远距离，打破“阿波罗13号”保持56年的人类飞行距离纪录。
宇航员经历约7小时的飞越，从约4000英里的高度拍摄了月球影像及“地球升起”等罕见景象，还目睹了一次日全食。
飞行期间由于月球阻挡了与深空网络的连接，宇航员与任务控制中心失去了大约 40 分钟的联系。
"But there was a moment about an hour ago... you could see the entire globe from pole to pole. You could see Africa, Europe, and if you looked really close, you could see the Northern Lights. It was the most spectacular moment and it paused all four of us in our tracks."

The Trump administration has ended federal civil rights protections for transgender students in schools. It revoked agreements that had allowed trans students to use school facilities and join sports teams based on their gender identity.
