HONGSAM debuted our groundbreaking new RCT Textile Pigment DTG T-shirt direct printing process at the exhibition — another major breakthrough in the RCT printing technology. The core innovation replaces traditional sprayed pretreatment with direct inkjet application through the printhead. Powered by the company’s patented “RCT” Rapid Color Technology, this DTG wet printing solution stood out as a centerpiece of the show.

Unlike conventional DTG dry printing, this wet-on-wet solution eliminates the need for separate spraying of pretreatment liquid and high-temperature drying. Printing of white and color inks is completed directly on damp fabric, enabling a seamless one-step process from pretreatment to printing. It delivers three major competitive advantages:
Significant time and space savings: No dedicated pretreatment spraying workshop is required, greatly simplifying production layout.
Superior color performance: The wet printing process allows simultaneous output of clear, white, and color inks in one pass, preserving maximum white ink purity and color saturation while producing soft, comfortable prints.

The entire workflow consists of just three steps — printing, drying, and heat pressing — completely eliminating the traditional powder shaking step and preventing dust pollution at the source. It is an ideal solution for modern green factories.
This approach eliminates health risks from dust particles to operators’ breath systems, enabling quiet, smoke-free, and clean production while improving the workshop environment. It also reduces product defects caused by powder contamination, effectively lowering defect rates and increasing yield.
In terms of garment feel, the solution overcomes the common drawbacks of traditional transfer films — thickness and poor breathability.
