Why toilet paper?
Toilet paper seems like the most boring thing ever. It's so ordinary that we don’t even think about it. Because almost everyone uses it every day, the toilet paper we choose has a huge impact on the environment.
Most toilet paper comes from trees, and that means thousands of trees are cut down daily around the world just for our bums. Moreover, most of these trees are imported into China, creating an even bigger carbon footprint.
Without us realising it, our everyday habits are contributing to deforestation and environmental strain. Qtopia’s toilet paper made from 100% Bamboo fiber is here to mitigate the impact of our bathroom routines on our environment.

What's so special about Qtopia’s toilet paper?
Qtopia’s toilet paper is crafted exclusively from 100% bamboo fiber, ensuring that no trees are felled in its production. It is also both exceptionally soft and strong. This is quite a challenge because bamboo fibres are usually a bit rough. Our bamboo is locally sourced from south west of China. We’re FSC certified, BPA-free and PFA free.
Our packaging is plastic free, made from bamboo fiber and recycled cardboard. Additionally, our bamboo is FSC certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Our rolls are called Pang Pang Rolls because they have twice as many sheets as most rolls, so they look cute and save a lot of space when shipping. Each roll is wrapped in a paper wrapper made from bamboo fiber, keeping each Pang Pang Roll clean and hygienic while adding a nice touch to your bathroom.

Why using Bamboo?
Qtopia believes Bamboo is a fantastic material and is the best choice for sustainable toilet paper due to its numerous environmental benefits and practical advantages.
Originally from China, Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on Earth (it’s actually a grass) able to grow for a meter a day and capable of reaching full maturity in just three to five years compared to traditional trees that can take decades. This rapid growth rate makes bamboo a highly renewable resource. Cutting bamboo is like cutting one’s hair. It’s going to grow even faster after and unlike trees we don’t have to kill it along with the eco-system that nurtures it.
Additionally, bamboo requires minimal water and no pesticides or fertilisers to grow, significantly reducing its environmental footprint. Bamboo absorbs 35% more Co2 than trees and produces 30% more oxygen than trees.
