On September 30th, something awesome happened in Tianyi Square, Ningbo. Foundya! on behalf of the Ningbo Tourism Commission brought over 100 people and 2,000 pieces of chalk together to create a truly gigantic piece of art.
As Confucius said, “It doesn't matter how slow you go, as long as you don't stop.”

In a mere eight hours, through the clouds and the rain, the persistence of all those involved finally paid off. It was an exciting day filled with laughs, creativity and color and we want to thank everyone who was involved.

“Great acts are made up of small deeds” – Lao Tzu

Even though we had to rush to cover it up halfway through, it worked and we were able to finish thanks to everyone’s “small deeds”. It was an event that captured the essence of Ningbo and showed that you don’t need a sunny day to have fun and fill the world with a splash of color.

Thanks again to all those who came out for the fun. Thanks to FXG, a Hangzhou VR and media company, who help us pull this off. Thanks to our artists, Wieslaw Borkowski Jr. and Ian Ballantyne, for designing the artwork and directing the volunteers. Thanks to our photographers and videographers Andreas Planas and Ryan Wilson and our music composer, Lucian Pixley, for helping us to capture the feeling of the day.
