The much-anticipated 2017 World Expo is now being held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. On June 23rd, Zhejiang delegation, led by Vice Governor Liang Liming, participated in the “Zhejiang Day” Event held in China Pavilion at Expo 2017 Astana. As an important representative of e-commerce companies, JUMORE delegation, which is conducting a business visit to Kazakhstan, was also invited to the event, and signed memorandum of strategic cooperation with multiple important Kazakh institutions and companies.

The Zhejiang Day event received great support from Chinese and Kazakh governments. At the opening ceremony of the event, Chen Zhou, CCPIT Vice Chairman, Zhang Hanhui, Ambassador of China to Kazakhstan, and Liang Liming, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, as well as Kazakh ministers delivered speeches.
At the event, witnessed by Liang Liming, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, Wu Guiying, Chairman of CCPIT Zhejiang Chapter, Xu Xing, Vice Director of Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, Gu Jianxin, Vice Director of Zhejiang Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Magauov Maratovich, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, and Malika Yerlanovna Bekturova, Deputy Mayor of Astana, JUMORE signed memorandum of strategic cooperation for four-party cooperation with Astana municipal government, Almaty Tech Garden (Kazakh Autonomous Cluster Fund) , and AIFC. On the same day, JUMORE also signed memorandum of cooperation with KazPost on jointly developing logistics cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
During the communication, Ambassador Zhang Hanhui expressed his full recognition to the achievements made by Chinese companies in Kazakhstan. Vice Chairman of Kazakh Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs also highly praised the development achievement of JUMORE.
After taking part in the Zhejiang Day Activity, the JUMORE delegation visited Astana Municipal Government, and had a meeting with Mr. Asset Orentaevich Isekeshev, Mayor of Astana. The two parties had effective discussion on establishing an online and offline complex project to promote the further deepening of B&R Cooperation, and reached consensus on the establishment of leadership team to promote the implementation of the cooperation projects.

Meanwhile, to better encourage Kazakh companies to connect with global cooperation opportunities and explore the worldwide market under the B&R Initiative, JUMORE signed cooperation agreement with Mr. Yerenov Ayan, Chairman of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (CICK).

Kazakhstan, as a traditional landlocked resource-exporting country, with the help of JUMORE, a cross-border e-commerce platform that is globally positioned, covers whole industry chain, and supports all service industries, will accelerate its digitalization and on-line transformation and reform on its path of seeking innovative growth of economy and upgrading and transformation of industries. Currently, with the enhancement of the cooperation between JUMORE and Kazakhstan at various levels, the comprehensive service advantage of JUMORE E4B system is more evident. While helping with the coordinated development of finance, trade, infrastructure construction, and productivity cooperation in Kazakhstan, JUMORE is also actively helping Astana to become a pilot city of “digital Kazakhstan”, and thus offer online and information support to Belt & Road Initiative and Kazakhstan’s “Bright Road” Strategy.
