Denis G. Antoine, Ambassador of Grenada to China, visited JUMORE Beijing Office on June 9. Recently, the Ambassador has just participated in the Meeting of Caribbean-JUMORE Cooperation and Communication as the leader of the Caribbean delegation, which included diplomats from Grenada, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Barbados, Bahamas, and Guyana. The visit of the ambassador aimed at further deepening and implementing the cooperation between the two parties.

The Ambassador, on behalf of the Caribbean delegation, pointed out that after the previous effective and in-depth communication with JUMORE, the delegation applauded the idea of cooperation and mutual benefits proposed by JUMORE, and wished to set up a deep-level cooperation partner relationship with JUMORE. He will continue promoting the communication among the Caribbean delegation, and contribute to the reaching of cooperation between the two parties.
With the development of China’s “Belt & Road” Initiative, Latin American countries, including the 7 Caribbean countries, have expressed their willingness to join in the development of B&R, and establish cooperation in various fields with China and other countries along the B&R routes. Ambassador Antoine mentioned that he wished that a comprehensive, multi-level cooperation between China and Grenada, and that between China and other Caribbean countries can be set up for the development of competitive resources, trade ties, and e-commerce.
JUMORE Chairman Lu Hongxiang appreciated the Ambassador for his contribution to the cooperation. He pointed out that JUMORE is willing to offer possible help and support to the Caribbean countries for their joining in the JUMORE platform, help the Caribbean enterprises, chambers of commerce, and industrial associations to promote their competitive industries and investment projects, and help them connect with Chinese and global markets. JUMORE welcomes the Ambassador to introduce chambers of commerce and industrial association from Grenada and other Caribbean countries to JUMORE for the launching of outstanding companies on JUMORE platform, and help them connect with the international market. He believes that the E4B system proposed by JUMORE can help Caribbean countries to promote the upgrading of industries and in the final analysis, realize mutual benefits.
