Zhuhai Zhongshan University Section Underpass Tunnel
Recently, Zhuhai Zhongshan University section underpass tunnel construction into the final stage, this major infrastructure project will soon be put into use. The main function of the tunnel is to meet the traffic demand of motor vehicles and slow-moving traffic on municipal roads on the basis of maintaining the original passage route of Harbor Boulevard, and at the same time to realize the connectivity of the east and west campuses of Zhongshan University above the tunnel. Harbor Boulevard Zhongshan University underpass tunnel project is in charge of the Zhuhai Highway Affairs Center, the main line of the project from the south of Harbor Boulevard and University Road intersection to the north, the end to the south of Harbor Boulevard and Bai Pu Road intersection, the project line length of about 874 meters, of which the tunnel section is about 499 meters long, the main tunnel is a two-way 6 lanes, the design speed of 60 kilometers per hour. Sidewalks and non-motorized underpasses are installed on both sides of the mainline tunnel.
