Dragon boat Festival

Dragon boat Festival has been celebrated for thousands years and has spread all over east asian from China. 
In memory of Qu Yuan,  a great Chinese poet and politician who sacrificed for his honor and love for his country, 
ancient Chinese people started dragon boat racing and sprinkled sticky rice into yangtze River at the day he jumped into the river. 
Nowadays people in China still organize grand dragon boat racing and the tradition of sprinkle sticky rice has given birth to a classic food named Zongzi.  
People of other countries may celebrate this day in different ways, but we all gather together, share delicious food and our happiness in this great festival. 
There is no doubt that today this festival is no longer about sacrifice but spreading happiness and benediction to our relatives and friends.
