Check for Leaks

Go Low Flow (High Efficiency)
Install low-flow faucets and toilets. A normal running faucet can easily use 5 gallons of water per minute (GPM), and low-flow faucets reduce the water use to about 1.5 GPM. When it comes to toilets, low-flow is the way to go. The average toilet uses 7 gallons of water per flush, but a high-efficiency toilet uses only 1.28 gallons per flush.
