Let us show you what production steps shower screens undergo before ending up in our customer's bathrooms.
It begins with glass processing. And the first step is cutting, done by automatic Italian glass cutting machines.
During the cutting, each piece of glass gets a bar code affixed. The bar code system allows robots to obtain the parameters, identify the size of the glass and make adjustments automatically. With the majority of enclosures needs to be customized, with individual barcodes, it's easy to track, learn about the order details and control the quality.
Edging, Drilling and Cleaning
At the previous stage the robots store the cut glass pieces in vertical stacks, which are then transported to the edging line, where the edges are treated for safe handling. Once the edges are completely smooth, the drilling takes place. Then the glass sheets undergo automatic cleaning.
The next step is glass patterning. Besides customized size and shape you can give your shower room identity by choosing a customized pattern！
Then the glass is tempered, or toughened. Tempered glass is about 4 times stronger, and even if broken, it shatters into tiny blunt pebbles, practically eliminating the danger caused by sharp edges of annealed, or "normal" glass.
After tempering, the Quick-Dry, Easy-Clean Coating is applied. The fine pores on the glass surface are sealed with polymer material to make the surface completely smooth and water-repellent.
The last step of the production process is the safety film application. This film keeps the glass pieces together in the event of breaking.
Now the products are ready for packaging, which is also mostly done by robots. At the end of the packaging line is the section for international deliveries. Due to a long journey these boxes are about to embark on, these packages have extra layers of protection.
