To celebrate the accomplishment from 2020 and to kick off a greater 2021, Newland AIDC held the annual business conference on 6th February with the theme of 'Strive for the future, accelerate for prosperity'.
Under the circumstance, the conference was fully virtualized with the main venue in Fuzhou and other venues from 12 different cities.

2020 is an extraordinary year. Under the circumstance of the global pandemic, Newland AIDC has demonstrated a strong ability to deal with changes and the strong resilience to maintain determination. Under the impact of external uncertainties, we still achieved steady business growth. Newland AIDC ranks No.4 worldwide for hand-held scanners and No.3 worldwide for OEM scan engine.

"After full of uncertainties and various challenges in 2020, we have ushered in a bright future." Mr. Guo Dong, CEO of Newland AIDC, concluded. According to forecasts by global research institutions, the AIDC industry will have a CAGR of 9.8% between 2020 and 2027, and the market will reach US$100 billion. The Asia Pacific will definitely become the fastest-growing market in the world. We have demonstrated our strength in 2020 and we have full confidence for 2021!
Keep evolving and creating greater value for customers
Newland AIDC developed and launched series of new products and solutions to enable and empower our enterprise customers. We launched ultra-thin enterprise mobile terminal and wearable series, we successfully extended our product offerings to "thinner and lighter", "more portable" and "wearable". We released our self-developed MDM software Ndevor, to build a one-stop intelligent mobile device management platform for users. We have launched a new generation of decoding chips with "faster and better performance" to further strengthen our core competency.
In the research and development of emerging technologies such as AI and machine vision, we have been actively investing and collaborating with end-users, even had some implementations in China. We are honored to be the only solution provider certified for Auto-identification under the certified program by the State Post Bureau of China. Most of Newland Enterprise Mobile Terminals have been certified by Google as "Android Enterprise Recommendation". In terms of business development, we made breakthroughs with a tremendous amount of enterprise customers in both domestic and global markets.

"Where is the way forward?" Mr. Guo Dong shared with us on the company vision, "We shall stick with our original causes, be affirmative with our core value under the temptation of various outlets. But that doesn’t mean staying put, or clinging to the past, we have to embrace changes, always look for new challenges, persist in innovation, persist in improving our capabilities, and step forward for the next decade of value."
We worked hard and fought hard, we were able to gain invaluable experience in 2020. Looking forward to 2021, we have the same goals and full confidence. We firmly believe that this is the moment when we spread our wings and soar up into the sky.
