Yesterday was the first day for Awesome Kid's Club annual Happy Holidays Camp!
Teacher Awesome Mike, Teacher Jenny and Li Ayi have had a great first day with a mixed group of kids - a few kids that are on camp for their first time, and some kids that have been to many of our camps already!
What are we doing at camp?
During the holiday camp we are making crafts, exploring, reading books, playing games, singing and dancing, participating in physical activities, socialising with (new) friends. We eat lunch and afternoon snack (and nap if needed). We use English and Chinese in natural situations together while doing all these activities.
We are using the whole STCC Kids Zone area and indoor activity rooms in the gym area. We are having our lunch and snack in one of the party rooms or Olive Restaurants. When the weather is nice we can go outdoor for some sport games.
Parent Communication:
At the end of each camp day our camp teaching team will send a short resume about the day and some photos to the parent wechat group. You are also welcome to have a talk with the teachers at drop-off or pick up time if you have specific questions or concerns about your child.

Awesome Mike - King of Kids and founder of Awesome Kid's Club is the English lead teacher for the camp this time.
Awesome Kid's Club started out 6 years ago with Michael coaching sports programs and fun Summer Camps, now it's been a while since he himself has been in the class room, but we are happy for his come back. Michael has beenlooking forward to again get the chance to get back into the real action with all awesome kids.
Jenny is usually our assistant Chinese teacher in the youngest toddler program. She is from Shanghai and a mum of two children. With a great passion for educating young children she loves to sing, read, tell storys, dance and cuddle with our young toddlers.
Li Ayi is our rock steady and calm class assistant with over 6 years experience from kindergarten and children from 2 to 5 years old. She's been with us for the last two years and she helps the children in our daily routines and knows that familiarity in the daily program give the children a sense of security. She also likes to teach how to play Chinese games, and tell old stories. It warms her heart when kids give her hugs and play with her.

Early Drop-off Session: 8:30 - 10:00. For you that need an earlier start we offer an early drop off from 8:30. Add RMB75/day for this morning session.
AGE GROUP:
Children from 1 - 10 years old are welcome. The children will be divided into two age groups for special activities during the day.
(A minimum of 6 children/day. Maximum 14 kids per group.)
4-day Week Camp: RMB2200 (including lunch and snack)
Single Day(s) Camp: RMB600 (including lunch and snack)
Early Drop-off Service: 8:30-10:00 RMB75/day added to fee above.
Fee payment:
Fee to be paid before your first camp day. Pay with cash at our office (Wulumuqi M Rd), by bank transfer, Wechat Pay or Alipay. Payment instructions are sent to you together with confirmation of space at the camp.
