Reny Bao is a post-90s jazz saxophone player. He was admitted to the Department of Modern Instrumental Music and Percussion of Shanghai Conservatory of Music to learn jazz music from Professor Zhang Xiaolu, Professor Liao Jiwen, jazz trumpet player Li Xiaochuan and other experts in 2010. In 2018, he graduated from New York Queens College Aaron Copland School Of Music, where he learned jazz saxophone playing, jazz composition and arrangement from Antonio Hart, Tim Armacost, David Berkman, Danis Machreal and other musicians. He has been active on the stage of major jazz festivals at home and abroad.

As a professional jazz piano and keyboard artist, Zhu Mang has a wealth of performance experience. He lives in Shanghai and he is frequently active in the creation and performance of various musical styles. His talent has been recognized and praised by many jazz masters, and has the opportunity to share the stage with many famous international artists, such as the Swedish jazz trombone and singer Nils Landgren、the young American jazz Alto saxophonist Alex Han.

In 2017, Zhu Mang went to the Netherlands to study for a master's degree in jazz at the Prince Claus Conservatoire , which gave him a deeper understanding of jazz improvisation and creation, and be praised by Don Braden, Joris Teepe, Gene Jackson, Freddie Bryant, JD. Walter and other famous jazz masters. During this time, he also went to New York as a short-term visiting scholar for a half-year jazz study, with the opportunity to be guided by famous jazz pianists such as Kevin Hays, John Escreet, and Taylor Eigsti. In June 2019, he received a master's degree in jazz music from the Prince Claus Conservatoire in the Netherlands.

Chuchu, a young percussionist, a jazz vibraphone player, a composer and a arranger, was hailed by the American media as “the music leader of today’s music scene”; the master of art music, Mr. Tan Dun called her “a rare musician”. The percussion soloist studied under the famous jazz vibraphone master Ed Saindon, jazz educator Jerry Bergonzi, Ken Schaphorst and so on. Since 2009, she has begun to tour the world as a percussion soloist. Including: UNESCO, the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, the Abu Dhabi Art Global Summit, the Los Angeles Art Museum, the Lyon Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra, the Tuscan Symphony Orchestra, the Netherlands Rotterdam Symphony Orchestra, etc.

This summer, stand-up comedian Si Wen saw a show at the JZ Club. Li Shihai, one of the musicians, told her that if she was interested, she could sing too. They tried out a few tunes and with the magic of jazz, Si Wen thought, it seemed like she could too. So, Si Wen, who has always loved singing, got a few friends who play jazz together and did a special session: a small music party for Si Wen that you had never heard of before.

She also invited her old friend Liang Haiyuan to give a talk show, but the most important thing was the musical spark with her new friends, as they recreated a few 'classics' together. It might be good, it might be funny, in any case, it will be a version of something you've never heard before.

Everything is set for a night of relaxation on the first weekend of September. Come and have fun!

Junyi Liang, young teacher of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, master of Jazz guitar from Rutgers University, USA, master of Music Education from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Studied jazz with Vic Juris, Conrad Herwig, Ralph Bowen, Fred Hersch, Frank Lacy, Lewis Potter, etc. and has performed with Mark Gross, Conrad Herwig, and others. After returning to China, he was active in JZ Club, Blue Note and other places. His trio album "Newcore" was released online on 4 May 2020.

Qiu Tian, singer, bass player; Dedicated to the combination of bass playing and singing, playing classic jazz repertoire and original songs, presenting interesting and sincere music to the audience. Learning bel canto ten years, because of the strong interest in jazz music, she began to learn jazz vocal music. Learned jazz singing from Jade Lee, Coco Zhao and Janis Siegel. She also learned blues and soul singing from the blues singer Sheree. Originally influenced by jazz singer and pianist Nina Simone, she focuses on the authentic expression of emotion. Under the tutelage of jazz musicians Lawrence Ku, Alec Haavik, Huang Jianyi, Tian Xin, Xu Zhitong, Wilson Chen to learn systematic jazz theory. Performed many times in JZ Club, JZ Live, participated in Jazz Spring Festival, etc.

These South Americas musicians have traveled far and wide, sharing their brand of Cuban music at every stop. Being the most strong and dynamic Latin band on the scene of Shanghai, this group brings all the best rhythms from Latin America, performing with passion and happiness and giving a perfect match for the night. Drawing from their diverse cultural backgrounds, you will hear influences from their South American roots. Armed with a variety of instruments, their sound evokes feelings of excitement and beauty. When the Latin Project takes to the stage, don’t be surprised if their music moves you to dance!

Xu Zhitong, Master and Doctor of Jazz Drummer of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München; Drummer of the Landes Jugend Jazz Orchester; Drummer of UMPA Jazz band in Munich, Germany. In 2018, Xu Zhitong won the China's outstanding jazz drummer of the year. In 2017, he won the first place of "JUNGER DEUTSCHER JAZZPREIS 2017" and the second place of Germany's "Kurt Maas Jazz Award 2017". Through his extremely mature music understanding ability, he always has the passion for music. With acumen, creative musicality, ability to control the character, and his obvious personal style and sound recognition, he was deeply impressed. The famous jazz pianist and educator Andreas Kissenbeck once said that "Xu Zhitong's talent and innate music are undoubtedly the top of all the students I have seen so far. His music is like fireworks. It’s gorgeous, volcanic and hot, worthy of sculpting and delicate sensibility. I believe that he will be a highly sought-after drummer on any jazz stage in the world." At the same time, he was often invited to collaborate with famous jazz musicians from all over the world.

Guitarist Greg Smith is the band captain of 'The Royal Hombres' and the music director of the famed music pub 'Cotton Club'  in Shanghai as well. He has rich experience in performance.The Royal Hombres has more than ten years of performing experience. It has become the oldest and most well-known blues band in Shanghai, their music reflects an eclectic mix of blues, jazz and funk. Yiko is a Blues and Jazz singer based in Shanghai. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014, majoring in vocal performance.In the years since she's returned to shanghai, she've been house vocalist Cotton Club，and various other venues all around china.
