Plants and spring time go hand in hand. At Awesome Kid's Club we have added a lot more green plants to our four class rooms, thanks to being gifted 45 plants and pots from our indoor environmental consultants at PureLiving China.
Our daycare children enjoyed a pot and planting activity and now they have a new class room responsibility of regularly watering their class room plants.
The plants are called "Birds Nest Fern" and they do not only give our classrooms a more natural feel and good vibes - they also helps clean our indoor air. The Fern-family is especially good at taking care of potentially harmful gases like formaldehyde and toluene and, like other plants, they will give back oxygen to us.
Now we don't only rely on green plants for our indoor air quality but also powerful air purifiers are in place that team up to work for us to clean our air!
Enjoy the photos below of our interested, curious awesome kids learning about and caring for their new plants.
Here we have kids from our new Lions Class at Ambassy Club taking care of their new class rooms plants:

The Joeys Class at The Summit is potting and watering the plants that they will take care of in their class room:

Our youngest little friends in the Chicks Class get to know the plants by touching the leaves and help with watering:
