What is Family Day?

City Weekend and Green City is hosting the 13th Annual Family Day event, on Saturday October 29 and Sunday October 30 at Sunshine Stadium.

For the past 12 years, City Weekend Parents & Kids has successfully organized the ultimate family event of the year.

Kids can take home a small piece of Family Day with them. Kids can make and take candy toys, drawing, create their own country’s flag, and have fun in the DIY house.

Painting

Get your face painted (or your child’s), decorate your own canvas bag or simply observe the magic happen in front of you. All activities will be absolutely free of charge.

Come play with movie characters

Shanghai Vancouver Film School

Actors and makeup artists from Shanghai Vancouver Film School dress up in your favorite costumes from Hollywood movies, create face paint and be your playmate for the day.

Take goofy photos that makes you laugh, find out how those special effects are made and take home our swagbag .

Green House

Sunrise Harvest

Sunrise Harvest is focused on providing a harvest of fresh local food and centered on blueberry production. Sunrise will creative a green house on the family day. They will provide pots, seeds, and dirt to encourage kids to plant plants. This area will be tented and have green house feel. The kids get to take home their plants and see how plants grow.

Photography

Instaphoto

Instaphoto is a portable photo booth that allows you to takes professional photos of yourself along with your family. It comes with beautiful backdrops and fun goofy props, and prints your photos in 8 seconds. It is the star of all parties and leaves everlasting memories. On the 13th annual family day, Instaphoto will take nice photos for free, a fun & creative way to capture all the best memories on family day for you.

Outdoor Activities

Did someone say bouncy castle?

This area celebrates diversity. There will be giant chess, photo booths, snowman slide, circus castle, Japanese sumo, jungle adventure and much more.

Sports

Stay active throughout the day

There will be a huge range of activities including basketball and baseball. A fun and professional basketball and baseball game time here for you.

BEST FRIEND CHINA who founded at the end of 2012, acting as a platform to help rescuers and rescue groups with adoption and resource needs. Hope to promote responsible pet ownership and proper pet care education. In the 13th annual family day, we remaining open space as a petting zoo. The zoo will have cute animals that are available to play with the kids.
