ESPY founder, Marilyn, left her life as IT manager in the Silicon Valley to fly home to be with her own people. Her dream is to give back. For Marilyn, ESPY is much more than a beverage or a coffee shop. It embodies a culture, a calling to connect people over good coffee to make friends and bless one another.
创始人Marilyn放弃IT经理的工作，离开硅谷回到自己的国家，想要回馈社会。对Marilyn来说，咖啡不只是一杯饮料，一间咖啡店，更是一种文化的体现，一种情怀的抒发，是人与人之间建立友谊和传递祝福的方式。
ESPY began with Marilyn, Dora, and Kallen’s stories - birds miles and miles from home because they are risk-takers, dream-makers.
Marilyn, Dora和Kallen因着咖啡彼此认识，就像飞鸟一样怀有共同的愿景为之筑巢。
Dora gave up a career in engineering to follow her dream to Shanghai. She loves how the city is open and welcoming. Here, she fell in love with coffee and became a barista. Shanghai became her home away from home, and coffee her singular passion. Coffee is art, a means of self-expression when people grow a love for it and develop their unique tastes.
对Dora来说，当人们对咖啡产生了一种爱和独特品味之时，咖啡是一种爱好，一种艺术，一种自我表达。毕业于工程专业的她，不想因为生活的坎坷而放弃追求梦想，远离家乡来到上海。因着对咖啡的热爱转行成为一位咖啡师。上海带给Dora的亲切感和实现梦想的自由与开放，让她决定留下来，并以这座城市为自己的第二故乡。
To Kallen, coffee sings to the tune of this city. It is the quick picker-upper for a busy day. It is also a delightful time-stopper for a midday reverie. It can get us going and even inspire us. Kallen graduated with a degree in business administration. Like Dora, he chose to follow his heart and became a designer. Through his design projects, Kallen discovered coffee in Shanghai, the coffee capital of China, a haven for coffee lovers and entrepreneurs. Although his quest for life and meaning are not without challenges, Kallen draws energy and imagination from the city and presses on with coffee as his companion.
对Kallen来说，咖啡会随着城市的旋律歌唱：无论是忙碌一天的快速提神器，还是午后遐想中令人愉悦的时间停摆器，咖啡都能让我们前进，甚至激发创造的灵感。作为一名工商管理的毕业生，Kallen因着对设计的热爱成为一位设计师，在设计的过程中与咖啡结缘。上海是全球咖啡馆数量最多的城市，也是咖啡从业者和爱好者的舞台，这座城市里的人与事让Kallen对设计充满了激情和想象力。在这里，他找寻着梦想，虽然偶尔会质疑现状，但更多的是去探索和拥抱生活。
