The Wine
A fresh and vibrant biodynamic wine from Ribera del Duero. Beautiful dark red wine with rich purple hues. Floral aromas, soft and sweet with notes of lilac, rosemary, honey, light roasted bayleaf and black pepper. This wine is velvety on the palate, full of softness with a saline mineral freshness surrounding the grape flavour.

This Tempranillo wine compliments BBQ-ed meat (especially grilled lamb chops), roasted sweet peppers, red meat, paella and cheese.

WINE FACT
"Los Cantos" means river stones and the talented folks at Finca Torremilanos use them to distinguish their five parcels of land situated two kilometers south of the river Duero.

The Winery

Finca Torremilanos is a family owned winery that has been producing wines since 1903. By using sustainable agriculture and no chemical elements, they champion the environment and are proud to produce biodynamic wines.

Biodynamic wine is made using farming practises that see the vineyard as one organism. The agricultural practice is based on the lunar calendar. The ecosystem works as a whole so each process supports the function of another one.

The vineyard is sustained by natural materials, soils and composts, meaning this wine is free from pesticides and fertilisers, which cause harm to animals and the environment as they enter the ecosystem.
