RF PA Design Engineer
(Shanghai)
Job Summary:
The RF PA design engineer is responsible for RF power transistor/module design and product development based on GaN/LDMOS technologies, according market and customer requirement, the Doherty and class AB power amplifier demo design also needed. The candidate should have technical skills of PA design, simulation and testing; Closely work with team members, focus on customer requirement and support company products and projects achieve business success. Work location is Shanghai.
Job Descriptions:
Responsible for RF power transistor / module design and product development.
RF power device load-pull measurement and performance characterization.
RF Doherty / class AB power amplifier circuits design, demo tuning and testing.
New product introduction supporting.
On site technique support for customers.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor requirement, Master degree is preferred, specializing in electronic circuit, wireless, electromagnetic fields, microwave & RF power.
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in RF power transistor, PA circuit design and application, or PA system development.
Familiar with RF EDA software usage, such as AWR / ADS / AutoCAD etc.
Familiar in using different RF test instrument and equipment, such as signal generator, power meter, network and spectrum analyzer, etc.
Ability to PA problems debugging and resourceful in solving.
Understand PA quality and manufacturing process.
Good learning capability, self-motivator and able to work independently.
CET-4 or above, fluently reading / writing / listening in English and Chinese.
Good team cooperation and interpersonal communication skills.
Suitable work in multinational and multicultural environment.
Highly Preferred Skills and Certifications:
Prior experience in RF high power transistor / module design.
Familiar with Doherty PA design theory and experience.
Prior experience in RF power device load-pull measurement.

Senior RF Field Application Engineer
(Chengdu, Beijing or Shanghai)
Responsibilities:
Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned customer location (s), primarily at the R&D / Engineering Design Centers
Present regular technical updates (and interim workshops), promoting new developments, products (features and benefits) as well as being hands-on in customer labs for modelling, trouble-shooting , etc.
Own the regional technical interface, promote support the development of the account by supporting the local KAM / Sales organization and driving increased Design In activity
Assess product positioning and recommend changes needed to surpass competitors
With the KAM / Sales team, support pipeline transparency timely forecasting (in Salesforce. com or other systems) & map out plans to close Design Wins
Communicate technical market trends (OEMs & Operators) and recommend strategies for success
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline with relevant work experience
5+ years in a Design Engineering or Application Engineering role (other relevant experience, e.g. RF circuit designer, technical sales support, etc, will be considered), interacting directly with customers to solve technical problems
Possess technical skills to complete microwave measurements
Strong knowledge in tuning high power amplifiers and circuit optimization
High-power RF experience required with either GaN HEMT, Si LDMOS or GaAs, MESFET, GaAS PHEMT
A solid track record of excellent presentation and written communication skills (English and Mandarin fluency)
Experience collaborating within and across global sales technical teams to increase penetration into key accounts
Ability to travel approximately 60%, including international
Preferred role location is Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing, but other locations will be considered
