This September, we are donating 5% of all proceeds via The Good Food People Mini Program to Lifeline. This non-profit provides a confidential helpline and online chat service for anyone who speaks English across China. They continue to fight the stigma and raise awareness of the importance of mental health to live a full and healthy life.
今年9月，我们通过THE GOOD FOOD PEOPLE小程序向生命线捐赠了所有收益的5%。这个非营利组织为中国的英语社区提供了一条帮助热线。他们继续与耻辱作斗争，提高人们对精神健康,对过上全面健康生活的重要性认识。
Why Lifeline? 为什么生命热线？
As part of the F&B community, we understand that it is one of the most demanding industries, with the physical and mental stress of the work taking a toll on so many who often remain silent. And so, we wish to give back and build a more connected and open F&B community.

Our focus on fundraising for Lifeline is to help them reach their goal of extending their operating hours beyond 12 hours everyday. Lifeline is facing increasing demand on their services and wants to ensure that each and every person who reaches out in times of emotional distress or crisis, is provided with a responsive safe place to talk.

Lifeline’s Mission? 生命线的使命？
Established in 2004, Lifeline remains the one and only English speaking crisis helpline service in Mainland China. Their dedicated trained volunteers provide 12 hours/ day of emotional support incorporating both a telephone service along with a Live Chat service option launched in October 2016.
生命热线成立于2004年，是中国大陆唯一一家讲英语的危机热线服务商。他们经过专门培训的志愿者提供12小时/天的情感支持，包括电话服且2016年10月启动在线聊天服务选项.
The main goals of Lifeline is to reduce the stigma of mental health, this stigma can cause people to feel ashamed for something that is out of their control and prevents many from seeking the help they need.
生命热线的主要目标是减少精神健康的耻辱感，这种耻辱感会使人们对自己无法控制的事情感到羞耻，并且阻止许多人寻求他们需要的帮助。
They aim to build a more connected community and safe space for callers in the hope to increase the likelihood that people will access professional support as soon as needed.

Join us this Sunday in bringing the dynamic community of the F&B industry together, in celebration of life, friendship, and community, and to learn more about the wonderful work of Lifeline.

Some of Shanghai’s best Chef’s and restaurants will be providing amazing food for you to enjoy with friends and raise much needed funds for Lifeline.

The Good Food People will also be participating in this event with a picnic basket. The Good Food People也会带着野餐篮参加这个活动。
World Suicide Prevention Day世界自杀预防日 | Tues, 10 September 9月10日周二
Every year, on 10th September, organisations around the world get together to raise awareness about suicide prevention. Here, at The Good Food People, we aim to do the same. Not being okay is still widely stigmatised and it is clear that governments, organizations, companies and so on, can still make better, more ambitious plans to raise awareness for and prevent suicide.
每年9月10日，世界各地的组织聚集在一起，提高对自杀预防的认识。在这里, The Good Food People，我们的目标是做同样的事情。不好的事情仍然受到广泛的抑郁e，很明显, 政府，组织，公司等仍然可以制定更好的，更雄心勃勃的计划来提高人们对自杀的认知和防止自杀。
