Octopus has high content of Omega-3 fatty acids that helps to lower the chances of stroke and heart attack.It promotes the cardiovascular health and stimulates cognitive health. It has low content of saturated fat, which assists in losing weight.  


八爪鱼含有非常丰富的欧米茄-3脂肪酸,能够有效降低中风和心脏病的风险。它可以增强心血管健康,也有助于保持认知健康。此外,八爪鱼的饱和脂肪含量很低,也有利于减肥。


HOW TO EAT THIS 

This is a ready to eat product; sliced drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle spices like smoked paprika. Suitable for grilling or sear it on high heat, it adds a smoky flavor to it.  


本品为即食产品,浇上少许橄榄油和撒上烟熏辣椒粉等调料即可食用。可用高温烧烤,增加烟熏味。

PULPO A FEIRA BY CHEF POL GARCIA


Chef Pol Garcia is sharing us in this video the recipe of one his signature dishes at La Maruja. “Pulpo a Feira” is a very typical dish from his hometown in the North of Spain. An easy to make dish, perfect to enjoy with friends or solo with the help of The Good Food People! You will love it!

Pulpo a Feira

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of octopus leg

  • 250g chopped parboiled potatoes  

  • chopped parsley  

  • whipped cream

  • 2 cups of water  

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt flakes   

  • 20ml extra virgin olive oil   

  • 1/2 tsp spicy smoked paprika  


Method

1. Heat olive oil in a pan and add the parboiled potatoes. 

2. Add a pinch of salt and stir potatoes occasionally for two minutes.   

3. Add the liquid from the octopus bag plus two cups of water to cover the potatoes. Bring to a boil.   

4. Blend the potatoes, add a generous splash of whipped cream for a creamy texture.   

5. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the octopus legs quickly over high heat. 

6. Slice seared octopus into 2-3 centimeter pieces.   

7. Pour the potato cream on a big plate and sprinkle with spicy smoked paprika. Drizzle with olive oil. 

8. Place the sliced octopus on the potato cream. Sprinkle sea salt flakes and chopped parsley to finish. 


配料

  • 1包章鱼腿

  • 250克切碎的半熟土豆

  • 切碎的香菜

  • 鲜奶油

  • 2杯水

  • 1/2茶匙海盐片

  • 20毫升特级初榨橄榄油

  • 1/2茶匙辣熏辣椒粉



方法 

1.在锅中加热橄榄油,然后加入煮熟的土豆。 

2.加入少许盐,不时搅拌土豆两分钟。

3.从章鱼产品袋中取汤汁,再加两杯水,盖住土豆,煮到水开。

4.搅拌土豆,加一点奶油,使奶油质地柔软。

5.在平底锅中加热橄榄油,然后用高火快速煎一下章鱼腿。

6.将煎好的章鱼切成2-3厘米的小块。

7.将土豆奶油倒在一个大盘子上,撒上辣熏辣椒粉。淋上橄榄油。

8.将切片的章鱼放在马铃薯奶油上。撒上海盐片和切碎的香菜。

Albariño is an excellent aperitif and works marvelously well alongside light to medium intensity foods such as seafood, white meat, white cheeses and smoked paprika. 


Serve it cold, but don’t be afraid to let the wine to warm up! As Albariño increases in temperature, it changes dramatically from more minerally, beeswax, and citrus flavors to those with richer apricot, pear, and apple-like notes
