Marius Bø is a figure within the northern hemisphere of the electronic music landscape, his artistry is deeply rooted in a profound connection to nature's atmosphere and the communal spirit of open-air gatherings. As one of the co-founders of the Oslo-based collective Ute, Marius' musical journey finds its origins nestled amidst the ethereal embrace of the Norwegian forests. It is here, amidst the whispering trees and rustling leaves, that his sound took root, hosting and playing parties deep in the woods.

His sets can be seen as a concoction of psychedelic atmospherics, generating dynamic tensions and sublime releases that work both the body and mind. Mastering different tempos and moods of deep hypnosis, Marius deftly connects the dots between old school records and futuristic soundscapes. Whether it’s ambient, idm, trance or techno, the Ute label-head seamlessly blends the sounds with a captivating elegance.

From hazy braindance to high-energy vibrations in mist-shrouded forests, balmy shores and dimly-lit basements, Marius navigates diverse settings with his distinctive musical style that takes a gentle yet firm grip on the soul. Spanning continents from Asia to Europe, with appearances in clubs like Pawnshop, Bassiani and Macadam, as well as festivals like Kune and Organik. Marius' music transcends time, all with an organic and trippy spirit, resonating from intimate club settings to verdant outdoor scenes.

几年前在哥本哈根 trance 热潮的启发下，Marius Bø 与 Teo Bachs Larsen (Ekkel)、Filip Storsveen (Oprofessionell) 开始以 Ute 为名在奥斯陆各处举办游击派对。“我们的派对一般都在户外举办，所以 Ute 其实就是 ‘outside’ 的意思。最开始的时候，奥斯陆还没有任何大型的 rave 派对或所谓的 techno 场景。但自从我们的第一场派对启动后，越来越多和我们理念相同的派对开始涌现。”

Marius Bø 与好友带着 Ute 越过城市森林至海中岛屿各处潮湿的苔藓土壤，最终在2018年正式成立同名厂牌，致力于北欧 90 年代的 trance 美学复兴。至今已发行涵盖 DJ IBON, Mikkel Rev, Omformer 在内的数张专辑与 EP。随着 Ute.Rec 逐渐成为斯堪的纳维亚半岛最为先锋的厂牌之一，他们扩大规模成立子厂牌 Sinensis 与 Translusid，为 trance 及 ambient 开辟更广阔的图景。本周六，Marius Bø 将来到 TENT 的舞池，呈现来自北半球的未来主义 trance 之声。
