Ben NRG，VOID 常驻 DJ、404 活动创始人，Hi-NRG, acid, techno 的忠实粉丝。来自伦敦的 Ben NRG 在其家乡运营着 False Persona, Donny Rotten 与 Fiesta Soundsystem 钟爱的唱片厂牌：Green House。曾为 Chaos in the CBD, DJ Boring 与 Skream 等音乐人暖场。其身份从仓库派对与秘密 Rave 场所的组织者到演出嘉宾，Ben NRG 已然成为英国俱乐部场景中的熟悉面孔，上海则是他下一个目标。

Ben NRG, VOID resident and 404 founder, a Lover of acid, techno, Hi-NRG. Originally from London and had a previous residency at DJ Mag's best small club in the UK supporting the likes of Chaos in the CBD, Peggy Gou, DJ Boring, and Skream. Where he also started a London based record label Green House featuring the likes of False Persona, Donny Rotten & Fiesta Soundsystem. From organizing and playing warehouse parties to secret location raves fka familiar face in the UK is in Shanghai to switch things up.

What's the idea behind the mix? Is there any special pick？

这个 mix 结合了一些我喜欢放的新旧曲目，其中大部分在第一次听的时候都让我感到无法抑制的兴奋。和我往常的 mix 一样，以一些工业声音开篇，随后涌入大量的 acid，再以一些 trance 和 cheesy 的玩意儿结尾。简而言之，这是时长一小时的黄金时段 bangers。

For this mix I chose I selection of both new and old tracks I just love playing, most of which when I first found I couldn’t contain my excitement over. Like most of my mixes it starts with some industrial sounds, then into heavier acid and finishes with some trance and cheesier stuff. In a nut shell just an hour of peak time bangers…

描述下你在俱乐部最难忘的一次经历。

What's the most memorable party you've ever been to?

有一些特别精彩，像是看到 DJ Stingray，Choas in the CBD 或是 Maya Jane Coles… 但记忆最深刻的还是一场计划外的 minimal techno 仓库派对，在 Shoreditch 或是 Hackney 的某个地方，具体在哪记不清了，整个 vibe 太美好了，即使对大部分人来说这就是一个超级 chill 的 after party，但直到上午 10、11 点大家依旧在跳舞。

A few stand out, like seeing DJ stingray, choas in the CBD or maya Jane coles... but I think most memorable was an a half baked minimal techno party warehouse party somewhere in shoreditch or hackney can’t fully remember where it was, But the whole vibe there was sick, as for most people it was there after party so it was super chill but everyone was dancing till 10/11am.

每次演出前有什么惯例会进行的仪式感行为吗？

Do you have any ritual behavior before the performance？

通常放歌前我会花几个小时整理音乐，邀请一些朋友来预听一下，喝点金汤力，听我的兄弟 DJ Qui 说些像是 “your gunna smash it bruv” 的话，来一场鼓舞人心的对谈。

Usually before I gig I’ll spend a few hours organizing music, then invite a few friends over for a pre gig mix, Gin tonic and pep talk from my bro DJ Qui saying something along the lines of “your gunna smash it bruv”.

马上要在几个不同的城市进行演出，十月将带着我的厂牌 404 在中国进行一次小小的巡演，希望能够成功…

Got a few upcoming gigs in a few different cities and doing a lil tour around China with my label 404 around October which I’m hoping is a success...
